STATEMENT OF FAITH

We believe in the One True God who has revealed Himself as the eternally self-existent "I AM," the Creator of heaven and earth and the Redeemer of mankind. He has further revealed Himself as the Eternal Triune God (one being in three persons)  embodying the principles of relationship and association as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life, performed miracles, and gave His life as a sacrifice for us, shedding His blood on the cross for our sins. He was crucified, died, was buried, and rose again. He ascended to heaven and is alive today, seated with God the Father and living in His people. Jesus is both fully God and fully man.

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God—completely true, trustworthy, and our highest authority for life and faith. We believe that God created humanity in His image so we could know Him and enjoy a relationship with Him. But we chose to turn away from His Lordship and glory. Because of this rebellion, sin entered the world, bringing sickness, death, and judgment. Now all of creation suffers the effects and consequences of sin.

We believe that we are saved by God’s grace through faith in Jesus Christ and what He has done for us. Anyone can be restored to a relationship with God by repenting, believing in Jesus, and receiving Him as Savior and Lord. It is the Holy Spirit who convicts our hearts, gives us new life, makes us right with God, and welcomes us into His family as sons and daughters in His kingdom.

We believe that water baptism is an important step of obedience for every believer. We also believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit, who lives within us and enables Christians to live a holy life and serve with His supernatural help. The baptism of the Holy Spirit, as described in Acts 1:4–8 and 2:4, is given to believers to empower them to be bold and effective witnesses for Christ.

We believe that through His victorious work on the cross, Jesus Christ has redeemed us and given us freedom from the power of the enemy—freedom from sin, lies, sickness, torment and death.

We believe the Church exists to continue the ministry of Jesus, advancing His Kingdom by destroying the works of the enemy, sharing and living out the good news of God’s love, and making disciples of all nations—baptizing them and teaching them to love and obey God.

We believe in the ever-increasing reign of God and look forward to the glorious, visible return of our Lord Jesus Christ in power and glory for His overcoming bride, the Church.

We believe that heaven and hell are real, and there will be a future resurrection of both the saved and the lost—the saved to everlasting life and the lost to everlasting separation from God.

We believe the true Church is made up of all who put their faith in Jesus Christ, and we believe in the spiritual unity of all believers in Him.
