Hebrews Chapter 1

On Palm Sunday, the crowds celebrated Jesus but missed who He truly was because their expectations shaped their vision. In our Hebrews series we see why this matters so deeply, because Hebrews 1 declares that Jesus is God’s final and full revelation, the exact representation of His being. Yet the same danger remains for us as we can be close to Him and still see a version we have created. This is why the Holy Spirit’s role is so powerful as He reveals Jesus as He really is, not who we imagine Him to be. When we see Him clearly everything changes, our striving ends, our drifting stops, and we find the life and peace that were in front of us all along.
